On 13 December 2019 Holy Family Catholic Church has been inaugurated by Most Rev. Gervas Rozario bishop of Rajshahi. In this auspicious  inauguration ceremony archbishop George Kochery nuncio to Bangladesh, 40 priests, 25 nuns and 500 faithful  of this new parish were preset . This will be third parish in the metropolitan city territory. Fr. Emmanuel Kanon Rozario has been appointed as its first parish priest.
